HURON – The Brookings cheer team placed third and the dance team took 12th at the Huron Competitive Spirit Invitational on Tuesday.
Brandon Valley won the cheer title with a score of 247.5 and Sioux Falls Washington was second at 233.5.
The Bobcats had a score of 224.5 for third.
Sioux Falls Washington took the dance title with a 278.33 and Brandon Valley (259.83) was second.
The Warriors won the hip hop (282.5) and pom (281), while placing second in jazz (271.5). The Lynx were tops in jazz (276.5) and kick (248.5).
Brookings ended up with a score of 105.5 for 12th. The Bobcats finished ninth in hip hop (141.5) and 11th in jazz (175).
The Harrisburg Invitational is Saturday at 10 a.m.
