VOLGA – Sioux Valley won the Sioux Valley Invite Monday at Meadow Creek in Volga. The Cossacks finished with a total score of 357.
Roncalli came in second place with a score 358 and Dell Rapids came in third with 359. Cade Guthmiller from Groton came in first place individually with a 80.
Blake Nielsen of Sisseton came in second with a 81 and Nate Buisker of Sioux Valley came in third with a 83.
The other Cossacks in the top 15 were Logan Steffeson, who finished tied for fifth with a 85 and Parker Loban, who finished tied for ninth with a 91. Other Sioux Valley players who participated were Payton Lemme (98) and Alex Stein (102).
Flandreau finished in eighth place. Tison Burggraff was the top finisher with a 99. Dylan Christenson finished with a 102 and Devon Burggraff finished with a 106.
