VERMILLION – Lake Preston’s Rylie Brown, Lindsay Hillestad, Ashley Neely and Ashlyn DeKnikker led the local contingent at the Class B portion of the Dan Lennon Invitational on Tuesday at Hillenbrand Track inside the DakotaDome
The Diver quartet placed second in the girls’ 1,600-meter sprint medley relay in a time of 4 minutes, 40.77 seconds.
Brown added a fourth-place showing in the 60-meter dash with a clocking of 8.3 seconds.
Madison Perkins, Hillestad, Neely and DeKnikker ended up fifth in the 4x400-meter relay in 4:39.36.
Colman-Egan had three fourth-place finishers – Haleigh Nicol in the triple jump (32 feet, 0.25 inches), Olivia Baumberger in the long jump (15-9 1/2) and Reese Luze in the 1,600 (5:52.54).
Arlington’s Tanley Goebel ended up seventh in the 800 in 1:06.64. Teammate Jayna Haufschild cleared 7 feet to tie for seventh in the pole vault.
