VOLGA – A car fire north of Volga destroyed the vehicle but there were no injuries, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
The fire was reported at 1:44 a.m. Friday and occurred near 207th Street and 465th Avenue, said Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring.
“Upon arrival, the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames,” Sebring said.
“The 2009 Suzuki SX4 was a total loss,” he said.
He said the Volga Fire Department put the fire out. Also responding was the Brookings Police.
The fire is under investigation by the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
