BROOKINGS – Shawna Gibson has been selected by her co-workers as the Avera Medical Group Brookings Employee of the Quarter for the fourth quarter of 2018.
Gibswon received a bachelor’s degree in management with a psychology minor from Northern State in Aberdeen and an associate’s degree in nursing from the University of South Dakota. She has been a nurse with the Clinic for over eight years and currently facilitates the Coumadin Clinic, while being available to help her team and other departments as well.
Gibson has two daughters, Sydney and Kennedy.
Gibson said “I love my co-workers and getting to know my patients and taking care of them” is what she likes about her job.
