BROOKINGS – Brookings Health System will hold a free ostomy education session on Monday, Oct. 22, at 7 p.m. in Brookings Hospital Conference Room A.
Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse Lisa Malone, RN, will discuss the topic, “Traveling with Your Ostomy.” The session also allows people with ostomies an opportunity to discuss day-to-day challenges and how to troubleshoot an ostomy. It also fosters intimate conversations on what works for individuals who live with an ostomy and go over normal routines.
