Pedersen to perform senior recital

BROOKINGS – South Dakota State University senior Candace Pedersen, a music education major from Corpus Christi, Texas, will hold a recital at 4 p.m. Oct. 21 in the Peterson Recital Hall in the Lincoln Music Hall on campus.

Pedersen, who plays the trumpet, is a member of The Pride of Dakotas Marching Band and participates in the concert and pep bands and the SDSU Women’s Choir.

She will perform works by Gabriel Fauré, Stanley Friedman, Joseph Haydn, Johann Christoph Pepusch and Julient Porret. Pedersen will be assisted by Noelle Allerdings, Alyssa Anderson, Josiah Crawford, Tanner Goodall, Austin Herrboldt, Deb Kalsbeck, Julia Okerman, Elizabeth Pauli, Emily Pierce, Duel Shape, Ashlynne Terkildsen, Nathan Thomas and Melanie Timmerman.
