4:31 a.m. Officers responded to the 2400 block of Sixth Street in reference to shoplifting. One male was cited for petty theft.
7:43 p.m. Brookings Police stopped a vehicle for speeding. The passenger was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and marijuana.
8:12 p.m. Officers took a hit-and-run accident report that occurred in the 900 block of Eighth Avenue. A report was filed.
5:33 p.m. Officer Schneider received a report of shoplifting from 2200 block of Sixth Street.
7:58 a.m. Officer Warkenthien took a report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 2400 block of Sixth Street. An investigation was made, and a city accident report has been filed.
3:21 p.m. Harassing phone calls
3:57 p.m. Officer Schneider responded to the 200 block of Main Avenue South to serve a no trespass warning.
5:51 p.m. Non-injury accident
2:11 a.m. Officer Kreutner conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Fourth Street. After further investigation, the driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
8:50 a.m. Officer Page took a report of a possible stolen license plate from a motor vehicle.
10:55 a.m. Detective Smith assisted the DCI with obtaining information from a cell phone.
12:15 p.m. Suicide attempt
1:53 p.m. Officers took a report of intentional damage in the 600 block of Fifth Street.
1:06 a.m. Brookings Police stopped a vehicle for speeding. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
1:48 a.m. Officer Kreutner initiated a traffic stop at the intersection of Jackrabbit Avenue and Sixth Street. After further investigation, the driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
1:21 p.m. Third-degree burglary – enter or remain in an unoccupied building to commit a crime
10:02 p.m. Brookings Police stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. The driver was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
