BROOKINGS – Compassionate Care Hospice helped honor the veterans residing at United Living Communities on Thursday, Nov. 7.
More than 20 veterans were presented with a military certificate and pin during a program where music and memories were shared.
The Rev. Dorthy Tufty, ULC chaplain, provided a blessing before cake was served.
Compassionate Care Hospice is a member of the We Honor the Vets Program through the Veterans Administration where all veterans can be recognized for the service and sacrifices that they and their family have made to allow our freedom.
