A Gold Honor Roll student and co-valedictorian of his senior class, Blasius intends to major in human biology at SDSU.

South Dakota State completed the 2023-24 season by setting a school record with four wrestlers earning All-America honors at the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships. The Jackrabbits tied a program record with eight national qualifiers.
