The Warriors got on the board with Aiden Doyle’s RBI single in the top of the third but the Bobcats got the run back after Johnson led off the bottom of the third with a walk and was driven in on Helmbolt’s second single of the game.

Brookings put together another rally in the bottom of the fourth inning when Tyson Antonen reached on an error and Ronning and David Brink drew back-to-back walks to load the bases. Merritt scored on a fielder’s choice and Ronning and Merritt scored on passed balls to give Brookings an 8-1 lead.
