Monday, Nov. 6
7:46 a.m. Police took a report of a pellet gun being discharged at 521 12th St. S. No 64. An individual was cited.
12:22 p.m. Officers filed drug charges on complaint against an adult female.
4:42 p.m. Officers started an investigation for a petty theft.
Tuesday Nov. 7
11:46 a.m. Police were made aware of a possible sexual assault that had occurred years prior.
12:38 p.m. Officer Schneider received a report about a juvenile incident in the 500 block of Elm Avenue. An investigation was made and possible charges are pending.
1:25 p.m. Police received information in regards to some possible abuse.
Wednesday, Nov. 8
1:50 p.m. Officers received a report of identity theft. A report was generated and the incident is under investigation.
6:43 p.m. Police initiated a traffic stop for a moving violation. The driver was arrested for DUI.
7:33 p.m. BPD attempted to stop a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in Brookings.

Friday Nov. 10
12:03 p.m. Police assisted CPS with checking a residence.
2:24 p.m. Officers received information about a child in need of supervision. A report was generated.
3:05 p.m. Police took a report of a missing firearm. The firearm was located.
5:11 p.m. Police took a report of possible child abuse.
10:46 p.m. Police responded to a minor accident in a parking lot.
Saturday, Nov. 11
8:34 a.m. Police took a report regarding the mental health of an individual. A report was filed
9:43 a.m. Police took a report of trespassing.7:11 p.m. Police took a report of a possible runaway juvenile.
Sunday, Nov. 12
3:03 a.m. Police took a report of intentional damage to property
Monday, Nov. 13
2:47 a.m. Officers assisted the Brookings Sheriff’s Office. One person was arrested.
9:11 a.m. Police were notified of some possible case of child abuse.
10:43 a.m. Officers responded to a two-vehicle non-injury crash in the 600 block of 22nd Avenue South
11:49 a.m. Officer Schneider received a drug report in the 500 block of Elm Avenue. Charges are pending.
4:01 p.m. Police were contacted in reference a welfare check. A report was filed.
7:33 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop. Driver was cited for a drug violation.
9:09 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop for a moving violation. One driver was arrested and two passengers were cited for under age consumption.
