Posted

April 10 is the second Wednesday in April, so the Brookings Birding Club will meeting that night.

The presentation is titled “What we love about Oakwood Lakes State Park.”

Tje presenter will be Becky Graff, who is the district park manager for Oakwood Lakes State Park. She will be telling club members about the best things to love about Oakwood State Park, which will include birding and other recreational activities.

She will also touch on the history of the park and the amenities provided there. This is the February program that had to be cancelled.

The meeting will begin at 7 p.m.  on April 10 in the Larson Nature Center at Dakota Nature Park. The pelicans and snowy egret are typical birds you will see at Oakwood Lakes. They were photographed there last summer.
