John Edward Howard was born on Dec. 7, 1947, to Larry and Renata Howard in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  He passed away on May 15, 2022.  Eidsness Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
John served in the Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran.  He also served in the Army.  
John retired from SDSU, where he was and Instructional Designer.
Survivors include his wife, Sally; son, Stephen (Amanda); daughter, Melissa; bonus children, Gregory (Sarah) Villegas and Brendan (Kristan) Villegas; nine bonus grandchildren along with baby Howard arriving in October.
