Six area teams compete in Dell Rapids

DELL RAPIDS – Six area schools competed in the St. Mary Invite on Tuesday afternoon at Rocky Run Golf Course.

Arlington, Colman-Egan, Deubrook Area and Oldham-Ramona/Rutland’s boys and girls teams competed and the Flandreau girls team and Elkton-Lake Benton boys team competed as well.

Girls
Deubrook Area was the top area team finisher on the girls’ side and the Dolphins came in third place with a team score of 320. The Arlington girls finished in eighth (419) and ORR came in ninth (430). Colman-Egan and Flandreau each did not have enough girls participate to have a girls score.

Brooklyn Galdis was the top finisher for Deubrook and she came in ninth place with a score of 102. Brynlee Hanson came in 12th (104) and Ava Crooks finished in 19th (114). Maddie Schulte rounded things out for the Dolphins, coming in 22nd (118).

Elli Vincent came in 23rd for Arlington after shooting a 119. Maysa Baldin came in 38th (144) and Jordan Spilde came in 41st (156). Nicole Steffensen finished in 43rd (158).

Camlin Schneider was the top finisher for ORR and she came in 28th (124). Ale Vasquez and Myrtis Howe finished in 39th (151) and 40th (155), respectively. Dayna Borah came in 42nd (158).

Colman-Egan had two participants on the girls’ side. Savannah Schmidt came in 14th (107) and Aspen Clark finished in 26th (120). Flandreau’s two competitors finished right next to each other as Madison Bushkofsky came in 30th (127) and Clara Kelm came in 31st (128).

Boys
Arlington was the top area finisher on the boys’ side as the Cardinals shot 277 as a team. Deubrook and Colman-Egan tied for eighth (294). Elkton-Lake Benton finished in 12th (309) and Oldham-Ramona-Rutland came in 15th (363).

The Cardinals were led by Bryce Heflin who came in ninth with a score of 89. Andrew Tawzer shot a 92 for Arlington and finished in 16th. Aden Bunker came in 29th (96) and Spencer Heflin came in 31st (96).

Gavin Landmark was the top finisher for the Dolphins and he came in 11th (89). Connor Andrews came in 17th (94) and Chance Schoenfeld came in 55th (111). Nolan Peterson rounded things out for Deubrook, coming in 58th (112).

Taylor Kriech of Colman-Egan was the top area finisher as he came in third with a score of 82. Holdyn Rentchler shot a 99 and came in 37th. Jack Whitehouse finished in 59th (113) and Zeke Wendell came in 67th (129).

Lane Schindler led ELB as he came in 21st (95). Eric Wiskur came in 38th (100) and Rylen Coe and Berk Hemmen finished in 44th (103) and 45th (104), respectively. Ethan Wiskur came in 53rd (110), Jack Stein came in 61st (115) and Carson Nordmeyer finished in 65th (125).
Easton Ruml was the top finisher for ORR and he came in 54th (111). Hyde Hanson came in 63rd (123) and Rylen Olsen finished in 68th (129).
