FORT WAYNE, Ind., Ellie Thompson led three players in double figures as the South Dakota State women's basketball team defeated IPFW 76-59 Saturday afternoon Summit League action at the Hillard Gates Sports Center.
With the win, the Jackrabbits improved to 20-7 (11-4). The 20,win season is SDSU's sixth consecutive and 20th overall.

SDSU Roundup: Baseball team moves to 2-0, softball squad tops Kansas

GLENDALE, Ariz., Ryan Froom pitched seven shutout innings and the South Dakota State baseball team found just enough offense to defeat Chicago State 3-2 on Saturday at Camelback Ranch.
Saturday's second game scheduled against Northern Illinois was called off due to rainy conditions. Sunday's rematch with the Cougars was also canceled due to unplayable field conditions.
