4-H news: Little Leprechaun Club

The Little Leprechaun 4-H club met Jan. 15 at the Agricultural Heritage Museum in Brookings.

The meeting was called to order by President Bailey Gjernes. The flag salute and 4-H pledge were led by Kaylin Gjernes. The roll call was “If you could have any super power, what would it be?” The secretary report was given by Kate Gayne. The treasurer’s report was given by Kamryn Streich.

Discussion was held on the Northview Lads and Lassies upcoming skating party in February. 4-H members have been active in shooting sports. The talk was “What was the best and the worse thing that happened to you over the Christmas break?”

The next meeting is scheduled for Feb. 5 at the Brookings County Outdoor Adventure Center in Brookings. After the meeting the members made splatter paint art that can be displayed at Achievement Days.
