BROOKINGS – Professor Emeritus Arden Sigl, left, was honored with the dedication of a classroom in his name by former student Ralph Lindner, right, a 1975 graduate of the Civil and Environmental Engineering program at South Dakota State University.
Sigl, who taught at SDSU from 1967 to 2009, received the recognition at a May 8 ceremony.
Lindner, originally of Deuel County and now of Sioux Falls, made the office dedication possible with a gift of $25,000 to the SDSU Foundation.
