BROOKINGS – A handful of Brookings School District retirees and longtime educators were honored earlier this month at the BSD and Brookings Education Association’s 2016-2017 Staff Recognition event. At right, retirees John Ruane, American history teacher, and science teacher and basketball coach Lynn Frederick, both of Mickelson Middle School, were recognized.
