A record-breaking semester for Brookings’ ILT

BROOKINGS – In a time when colleges across the nation are seeing their student enrollment dwindle, Brookings’ Institute of Lutheran Theology is achieving record-breaking enrollment.

After just 11 years in operation, ILT has 101 students this fall – that is an increase of more than 30% from last fall.

This is nothing new, from its beginning in the fall of 2009, ILT has maintained an average annual growth rate in enrollment of nearly 30%. ILT President Dennis Bielfeldt said, “As we continue to grow our programs, and reach out globally, ILT is poised to top 1,000 students enrolled within the next 10 years.”

Brookings’ ILT – a fully accredited, Christian college, seminary, and graduate school – offers fully online and fully face-to-face degree programs at the associates, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels. ILT faculty deliver an academically rigorous, culturally relevant, and biblically faithful education to pastors, teachers, and Christians in all walks of life.
