Planning Commission
The Brookings Planning Commission will meet at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Brookings City & County Government Center at 520 Third St. Items on the agenda include:
• Hearing and action on a preliminary plat for lots in the Telkamp Industrial Addition
• Rezoning request for lots at 829 Second St. S., 831 Second St. S. and 915 Second St. S., all in the Skinners Third Addition, from a Residence R-2 Two Family to a Business B-3 Heavy District
• Conditional use permit pertaining to establishment of a triplex in the Third Addition
• Conditional use permit pertaining to establishing a concrete plant in the Telkamp Industrial Addition
• Amendment to zoning rules on buffer yards
• Discussion on future parks
• Discussion on campgrounds/RV parks
Brookings City Council
The Brookings City Council will hold a special meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Brookings City & County Government Center at 520 Third St. Items on the agenda include:
• Present certificate of election and oath of office for Joey Collins and Ope Niemeyer
• Open forum
• Discussion and possible action on an ordinance amending the emergency ordinance addressing a public health criss and to revise certain measures, which have been deemed necessary to slow the community spread of COVID-19
• Council member introduction of topics for future discussion
