Alice Siver, 91, of De Smet and formerly of Brookings, died Monday March 20, 2017, at the Brookings Hospice Care Center.
Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the American Lutheran Church in De Smet. Visitation is Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the Osthus Funeral Home in De Smet. The Osthus Funeral Home in De Smet is in charge of arrangements.
Alice was born April 17, 1925, to Alvin H. Klinkel and Irene C (Raber) Klinkel on the Klinkel farm near Bancroft. She was baptized into the Christian faith at the Bancroft Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her children, Marcia Larsen, Sierra Vista Ariz.; Wayne (Linda), Salem Ore; David, De Smet; and Charlie (Cindee), Brookings; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Earl (Jo), Tennesse; sister, Ginger Haggeman, Texas; and brother, Dick, De Smet; in addition to many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to American Lutheran or your favorite charity, in Alice’s name.
