FLANDREAU – Seven Cossacks and five Fliers earned All-Big East Conference recognition in football.
Sioux Valley senior Jaxton Schiller and juniors Parker Puetz, Kashas VanderWal and Carson Christopherson made the first team. Seniors Raven Olson and Avry Mangan and junior Layson Lucas were honorable mentions.
Flandreau’s Tash Lunday and Chase Reed – both juniors – made the first team. Senior Brady Johnson, junior Tathan Headrick and sophomore Ethan Hoffman were honorable mentions.
Volleyball
Four Cossacks and three Fliers earned All-Big East Conference recognition in volleyball.
Sioux Valley senior Rylan Willis and junior Kasey Pistulka landed a spot on the first team, while senior Taylor Moir and junior Reagan Johnson were honorable mentions.
Flandreau junior Maria Parsley landed on the first team. Senior Macy Kneebone and freshman Claire Sheppard were honorable mentions.
LAKE CENTRAL CONFERENCE
CLEAR LAKE – Sioux Valley senior Haydyn Hauge and junior Kasey Pistulka and Flandreau senior Kennedy Peper and junior Bella Pavlis made the All-Lake Central Conference volleyball team.
