Arline was born Feb. 27, 1923, and went to her heavenly home on April 11, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll M. Bagaason; and brother, Harold Foley.
Grateful for having shared life are her sister, Phyllis Stapel; daughters Becky Hallberg (David) and Debby Bagaason (Tom Theno), sons David and John (Charlene) Bagaason; grandchildren Amanda (George) Greenwell, Berit (Jason) Mansour, Jake and Zach Theno and Ryan Bagaason; and great-grandchildren Tre and Logan Greenwell and James and David Mansour.
A devoted nurse, Arline enjoyed working at various hospitals and nursing homes as she and her husband served churches in Sioux Falls, Britton, Clarkfield, MN, Sleepy Eye, MN and Brookings.
Arline cherished her Norwegian heritage and found any excuse to share Norske goodies and recipes with anyone she came in contact with – lefsa, krumkake, kransekake, sweet soup, römmegröt, and those who have had her cinnamon rolls will never forget them! No one was a stranger to Arline as hospitality was one of her many gifts.
She loved to travel and Norway was her favorite place to visit!
As someone who served and sacrificed for others for most of her life, we will always remember her humility, grateful attitude and kind spirit.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Lutheran Church of the Master, Augustana University of Sioux Falls, Lutheran World Relief or a charity of your choice.
