Arlington Legion to host second annual Post 42 Poker Run Saturday

ARLINGTON – The Arlington American Legion Post 42 Second Annual Poker Run will be held on June 19.

The Arlington American Legion, Auxiliary and Sons of the American Legion are working together to provide funds for the new legion building in Arlington. 

“This exciting new building has truly been a community project with everyone in town and many alumni, being able to say ‘they helped build that,’” a Post 42 release stated.

This exciting poker run has been in the works all spring, co-chaired by Kristi Falconer, Linda Aylward and others to help the building fund.

The Saturday schedule:

• Registration from 9:30-10:30 a.m.

• Poker run kickstands up at 11 a.m. (on Main Street - Arlington) – proceeds go to Post 42 building fund

• Supper with brats, beans, salads and chips from 6-8 p.m.

• Dance featuring live music by Highway Call

Camping and lodging are available.
