Arrows sweep Bobcats in tight match

WATERTOWN – The Arrows topped the Bobcats 25-23, 25-14, 25-23 on Saturday afternoon.

Jadyn Hoftiezer and Maggie Heesch both had nine kills and Emerson Smith chipped in with nine for Watertown (9-2).

Brookings’ Landree Wilson, Gracie Adamson and Kat Charging each recorded nine kills.

Brittany Birgen (20) and Mackenzie Weber (12) combined for 32 set assists.

Birgen netted four service aces. Wilson had a block.

Tessa Nelson had 16 digs, Sydney Schneider 11 and Weber nine.

Brookings (3-9) is host to Brandon Valley on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
