BROOKINGS – Watertown defeated the Bobcats 8-1 in a boys’ tennis dual Thursday evening at Hillcrest.
Brookings’ Jonah Dobbs and Dalton Rittershaus beat Matt Gauger and Tate Skoglund 4-6, 6-0, 12-10 in the No. 1 doubles match.
Gauger dropped Dobbs 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, while Mike Kruger topped Rittershaus 7-6 (3), 6-3 at No. 2.
The Bobcats (3-8) play host to a quadrangular today, taking on Vermillion at noon, Milbank Area at 2:30 p.m. and Harrisburg at 5:30 p.m.
