AURORA – Someone tried to break into a storage shed in Aurora over the weekend, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident was reported at 11:15 a.m. Saturday and occurred in the 400 block of Redmond Road in Aurora, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.
“Damage was noticed on the shed door where a suspect or suspects attempted to pry open the door. Entry to the shed was not gained but the door received an estimated $600 worth of damage,” Sebring said.
The attempted break-in occurred sometime between Monday, May 4, to Wednesday, May 6, he said.
