On Friday, Nov. 19, the Pike-Huska American Legion Post No. 230 and Auxiliary hosted its annual poultry bingo party and soup and sandwich meal.
This year’s event was very successful and rewarding, especially after last year’s event was cancelled due to the pandemic.
We would like to thank all who attended and especially thank all of the individuals and businesses who donated gift cards and cash for the bingo prizes.
The Aurora American Legion contributes to Legion baseball, Boys State, veterans facilities at Christmas and other community activities.
This year a donation was made to “Midwest Honor Flight” for veterans to fly to Washington, D.C., and visit their memorials.
