Bandits take down Harrisburg, 7-4

BROOKINGS – The Bandits built a 6-0 lead after two innings en route to a 7-4 defeat of Harrisburg in a Legion baseball game Tuesday at Bob Shelden Field.

Jake Ammann was 3-for-3 with a trio of RBIs. He earned the win on the mound after allowing four runs on five hits and six walks with seven strikeouts over six innings.

Jackson Krogman scored three times and Jamison Honkomp drove in a pair. Max Kjelden had two hits and an RBI.

Brookings (3-2) is host to Sioux Falls West in a doubleheader tonight at 5.
