Thursday, Sept. 13

2:23 p.m. A two-vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Sixth Street and 13th Avenue. BFD was requested to clean up antifreeze at the scene. Scene cleared at 2:54 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 14

12:35 p.m. A fire alarm occurred at 601 Fourth St. Someone had bumped the pull station and set off the alarm. The alarm was reset. Scene cleared at 12:58 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 15

10:25 a.m. A grass fire occurred in the 2400 block of Main Avenue South. An individual inadvertently started a small grass fire while repairing a tractor. The fire was extinguished by BFD personnel. Scene cleared at 10:28 a.m.

Sunday, Sept. 16

4:37 a.m. A trailer fire occurred at 473rd Avenue and 208th Street. A pickup box trailer was fully involved upon arrival. The fire was extinguished by BFD personnel. Scene cleared at 5:31 a.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 18

Fire Department training: A drill involving an explosion with injuries at the Valero ethanol plant in Aurora.

Wednesday, Sept. 19

6:48 a.m. A hay bale fire occurred at the intersection of 32nd Street South and West 28th Avenue South. Fire crews separated and extinguished burning hay bales. Scene cleared at 8:24 a.m.

Thursday, Sept. 20

1:49 p.m. A fire alarm occurred at 116 Main Ave. S. Alarm malfunctioned, investigation only. Scene cleared at 2:21 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 22

3:43 p.m. Public assistance at 3034 LeFevre Drive. Super 8 personnel needed help shutting down the sprinkler system and resetting the alarm system. Scene cleared at 4:02 p.m.

6:49 p.m. A fire alarm occurred at 400 22nd Ave. Alarm malfunctioned, investigation only. Scene cleared at 7:18 p.m.

9:53 p.m. A gas odor occurred at Interstate 29 mile marker 132. Investigation only, scene cleared at 10:20 p.m.

Monday, Sept. 24

11:18 pm. A fire alarm occurred at 116 Main Ave. S. Alarm malfunctioned, investigation only. Scene cleared at 11:32 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 25

Fire Department training: Forcible entry training at south training site.

Wednesday, Sept. 26

5:14 p.m. Gas smell at Western Avenue and the Highway 14 bypass. Investigation only. Scene cleared at 5:39 p.m.
