BGCB providing free meals for kids

BROOKINGS – Beginning Wednesday, July 1, the Boys & Girls Club of Brookings will make breakfast and lunch meals available to any child 18 years of age and under on Mondays and Thursdays between 10 and 11 a.m. 

Though membership is encouraged, children do not need to be members of the Boys & Girls Club or enrolled in the Brookings School District, and no sign-up is necessary. Children will receive three breakfasts and lunches at the Monday pickup and two breakfasts and lunches at the Thursday pickup.

Locations

• Boys & Girls Club of Brookings, 1126 Southland Lane. Use the east entrance, and drive through for service.

• Brookings High School, 530 Elm Ave. Use the west entrance. Pickup will be in the middle of the parking lot. Drive through for service.

• Little Hall – Aurora

Serving dates, from 10-11 a.m.

• Wednesday, July 1 (three breakfasts and lunches provided)

• July 6 and 9

• July 13 and 16

• July 20 and 23

• July 27 and 30

• Aug. 3 and 6

• Aug. 10 and 13

• Aug. 17 and 20
