BHS goes 0-2 in home triangular

BROOKINGS – The Bobcats fell 8-1 to Huron and 7-1 to Madison in a girls’ tennis triangular Thursday at Hillcrest.

Brookings (0-12) plays host to Rapid City Central on Friday, Sept. 13, at 4 p.m.

The Bobcats’ Ainsley Shelsta beat AnneClaire Rubish 10-7 in the No. 5 singles match.

Isha Hooda had a close call at No. 6, falling 10-8 to Bianca Medina.

The Tigers’ Kayla Harvey was a 10-1 victor over Skylor Ness at No. 1 singles and teamed with Audrey Rubish to defeat Ness and Lynn Foster 10-1 in the No. 1 doubles matchup.
