BHS singers make state honors choir

BROOKINGS – These Brookings High School singers participated in the South Dakota Honor Choir recently.

The students auditioned in April.

Sopranos, altos, tenors and basses from around the state with the top 35 scores selected to participate in the week-long camp on the University of Sioux Falls Campus. 

The 140 singers were under the direction of Judith Herrington from Tacoma Washington, and presented a concert Aug. 3 in the Sioux Falls Washington Pavilion.
