BROOKINGS – Brookings Municipal Utilities and Swiftel Communications are extending facility and office closures to the general public until June 1 based on current circumstances and conditions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.
The status will be further evaluated at that time. This extension applies to the facilities located at 525 Western Ave., 415 Fourth St. and 1303 Trail Ridge Road.
Brookings Municipal Utilities and Swiftel Communications will continue to operate during this time. Customers are being asked to contact departments and offices via phone, email and by utilizing online services.
The drive-up window located at 525 Western Ave. will be available to the public, as well as the payment drop box, both located on the north side of the building.
Brookings Municipal Utility customers may also pay their bills by going to the website www.brookingsutilities.com or pay by phone at 697-8468. All general service inquiries may contact 692-6325. To report an electrical or water outage, contact 697-8418. Swiftel Communications customers can also pay their bills at http://swiftel.net/. Technical support questions may be directed to 696-4357.
