BROOKINGS – A boat trailer was reported stolen last week, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
The theft was reported at 7:15 p.m. Friday and occurred at 21587 467th Ave., southwest of Brookings, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.
“A rural Brookings resident reported the theft of a boat trailer,” Sebring said. “The trailer was sold on an auction on Saturday, June 27. The trailer was stolen sometime between Wednesday, July 1 to Thursday, July 2.”
The trailer was valued at $185, he added.
