Bobcat bowling splits matches against West Central

BROOKINGS – The Brookings bowling team had a makeup match against West Central on Tuesday at Prairie Lanes. The Bobcats were supposed to play the Trojans last week, but it was postponed due to weather.

The varsity girls improved to 7-0 with a dominating victory of 48-2. Brooklyn Hieb had the high score of 509. Brooke Seeley had the highest game with a 191.

The varsity boys fell 45.5-4.5. They are now 2-5. Gabe Boyer led the way with a score of 537 and had the high game of 205.

The junior varsity girls won 36.5-13.5 and the JV boys lost 26-24.

The Bobcats will be back in action Friday against Sioux Falls Lincoln at 4 p.m. in Brookings.
