YANKTON – The Bobcats went 2-1 and placed third in the Eastern South Dakota Conference Softball Tournament.

Jessa Rindels tossed a complete game for the Bobcats, allowing three runs on three hits and seven walks with one strikeout.
Morgan Linstad went 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Gracie Adamson gave up two runs – none earned – on three hits and a pair of walks with a strikeout in a complete-game effort.
Brookings racked up 11 hits.
Skyler Hinricher was 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI.
Sydney Grendler (RBI), Sierra Stevens and Sydney Schneider added two hits apiece.
Linstad added an RBI.

Hinricher was 2-for-3 with a homer and a trio of RBIs.
Linstad singled twice and drove in four runs.
Rindels (RBI), Schneider and Janine Warne each had two hits and an RBI. Grendler singled and drove in a pair. Stevens added a pair of hits. Jaelyn Gasper doubled.
Brookings overcame an early 6-0 deficit. It trailed 7-2 after 1 1/2 innings.
Adamson picked up the pitching victory in relief, surrendering one run on two hits and a walk over the final 2 2/3.
