YANKTON – The host Gazelles shot 360 to win a girls’ golf triangular on Tuesday afternoon at Fox Run.
Brandon Valley (386) was second and Brookings (432) third.
Yankton’s Morgan Strahl was medalist following a round of 81. Teammate Josie Krajewski tied for second with the Lynx’s Julia Andresen at 89.
Nicole Steen and Ashton Austreim paced the Bobcats with 106s, putting them in a tie for eighth overall.
Makenna Kepner (108) and Paige Mahlke (112) were 11th and 12th, respectively, to round out the team score.
Also for Brookings, Delilah Fuls carded a 115 and Morgan Herold a 125.
The Bobcats compete in a quadrangular versus Lincoln, Washington and Brandon Valley on Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Willow Run in Sioux Falls.
