Bodee Groos named DVC Player of the Year for champion Hawks

WHITE – Bodee Groos of league champion Colman-Egan was named Dakota Valley Conference Player of the Year in football.

He was joined on the All-DVC team by teammates and fellow seniors Kade Groos and Keith Crisp, along with junior Alec Landis.

Seniors Trey McKnight and Chandler Gullickson were honorable mentions.

The Hawks went 8-0 in DVC play.

Colman-Egan (11-0 overall), the defending Class 9A state champion, faces Sully Buttes (11-0) in the Class 9B title game on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the DakotaDome in Vermillion.
