BROOKINGS – The Bombers Black split a doubleheader with Aberdeen on Friday evening at Bob Shelden Field.
Brookings (2-12) plays a twinbill at Brandon Valley tonight at 5.
Game 1
• Brookings 12, Aberdeen 10 (6 inn.)
The Bombers Black scored six runs in both the third and fifth innings.
Tane Friedrich finished 2-for-3 with a pair of RBIs. Aidan Austreim singled and drove in a pair.
Tyson Antonen and Will Conrad both had two hits and an RBI. Jared Erickson and Luke Honkomp each logged one hit and one RBI.
Antonen pitched five innings, surrendering seven runs – four earned – on seven hits and four walks with a strikeout, to pick up the victory.
