Wednesday, June 6
11:25 a.m. Officer McCaskill was requested to the 1000 block of 32nd Avenue for the report of theft of diesel fuel from a business. The grand theft was documented. There is no suspect at this time.
11:56 a.m. The Brookings Police Department received a fraud report. Multiple charges were made online on the victim’s credit card.
12:58 p.m. Officer Pollman assisted a Department of Corrections parole agent with a transport from the 1300 block of Main Avenue South to the Brookings County jail.
1:40 p.m. Department of Social Services referral
Thursday, June 7
1:05 p.m. Petty theft, less than $400
8 p.m. Officers were dispatched to 2400 block of Yorkshire for a possible stolen wallet. A report was filed.
9:50 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 1200 block of Sixth Street for a theft of a bicycle. A report was filed.
Friday, June 8
2:09 p.m. A Brookings resident arrived at the police station to file a report of theft from her motor vehicle. A report has been generated.
2:10 p.m. A Brookings resident arrived at the police station to discuss a civil matter. A report has been generated.
3:01 p.m. A subject with a felony warrant was located in the 400 block of Seventh Avenue South. He was taken into custody without incident.
