BRANDON – The Lynx defeated the Bobcats 56-50 in an Eastern South Dakota Conference girls’ basketball game Thursday.
Brandon Valley was up 17-10 after a quarter, 32-22 at halftime and 42-37 at the end of three.
Danica Kocher paced the Lynx with 18 points, Trinity Law added 13 and Ashley Wells 10.
Bobcat junior Michaela Jewett scored a game-high 23 points. Johanna Miller added 10 markers.
The Lynx outscored the Bobcats 17-5 at the free-throw line.
Brandon Valley improved to 5-1 (4-1)
Brookings (3-2, 3-2) heads to Aberdeen Central on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. matchup.
