Brookings Area Habitat for Humanity breaks ground on 75th house

AURORA – Brookings Area Habitat for Humanity representatives and its 75th homeowner family conducted a ceremonial groundbreaking for the house at 414 Walnut St. in Aurora last week.

Actual construction on the home is already underway.

Those attending the ceremony representing the BAHFH included Dan McColley, executive director; Trever Shelden, director of construction; Jason Hett, construction supervisor; Jake McGlade, volunteer coordinator; and Kay Norton, board of directors president.
