Saturday, Nov. 5
2:59 a.m. Officers responded to the 1000 block of Southland Lane to a report of intentional damage. A report was taken.
Sunday, Nov. 6
2:23 a.m. Brookings police arrested a driver for driving under the influence and possession of a fictitious driver’s license. Two passengers were cited for underage consumption.
2:31 a.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to the 100 block of Second Street South for a family disturbance.
9:35 a.m. Law enforcement took a report about theft.
Monday, Nov. 7
8:35 a.m. Officers responded to a call for a suspicious odor.
10:15 a.m. Brookings police officers were dispatched to a residence for suspicious activity. A report was generated.
Tuesday, Nov. 8
7:28 a.m. BPD responded to a report of a car vs. deer accident of the 2200 block of Medary Avenue.
9:16 a.m. Brookings Police took a burglary report at 521 12th St. S. No. 77.
8:28 p.m. Officers responded to the 400 block of Sixth Street for a report of a vehicle break-in. A report was taken.
Wednesday, Nov. 9
8:02 a.m. Brookings police took a report of a theft.
10:27 a.m. Brookings police officers responded to the 400 block of 22nd Avenue for a fight. Two individuals were arrested.
12:25 p.m. Police conducted a welfare check in the 1900 block of Lincoln Lane.
1:32 p.m. Officer Schneider was informed of a protection order violation. A report was made and charges are pending.
2:57 p.m. Officers took a report of theft.
7:05 p.m Officers responded to a car-deer crash.
7:06 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of theft from a motor vehicle.
Thursday, Nov. 10
1:41 a.m. Officers responded to the 400 Block of Main Avenue for a report of an assault. One individual was placed under arrest and transported to the Brookings County Detention Center. A report was generated.
9:45 a.m. Officer Schneider completed a tobacco violation report at the Brookings High School. A juvenile female was issued a citation.
10: 34 a.m. Officer Schneider received a report of a missing laptop. A report was generated and a state case issued
11:46 a.m. Officers received a call about a theft from a vehicle. A report was taken.
2:50 p.m. Officers took a report of a male with a fake ID. He was arrested later.
4:06 p.m. Officers were notified of a theft of tools. A report was taken.
6:47 p.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to the intersection of Eighth Street South and Park Avenue for a disorderly subject. One subject was later arrested or an outstanding warrant.
7:09 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 500 Block of Seventh Avenue for a potential burglary in progress. One male was ultimately arrested for burglary and various charges.
8:45 p.m. Officers responded to the 100 Block of Gilley Avenue for a report of suspicious activity. A report was generated.
