  • 7:29 a.m. Brookings Police responded to a one-vehicle accident.
  • 8:36 a.m. Brookings Police took a report of a hit-and-run accident that in the Hy-Vee parking lot.
  • 2: 24 p.m. BPD responded to a report of a simple assault.
  • 2:35 p.m. Officers took a report of a minor two-vehicle collision in the 500 block of Elm Avenue.
  • 3:15 p.m. Brookings police officers responded to a juvenile incident.
  • 5:19 p.m. Officers took a report of a valuable package that was sent to the wrong address.

Thursday, Nov. 17

  • 4:27 a.m. Officers responded to the100 block of Ninth Avenue for a report of an individual unlawfully inside a building.
  • 7:01 a.m. BPD took a report of a runaway juvenile male.
  • 10:28 a.m. SRO Warkenthien was made aware of statements made by an individual. An investigation was made and a report has been filed for documentation.
  • 11: 59 a.m. Officers responded to the 1400 block of First Street for a two-vehicle accident.
  • 12:21 p.m. Brookings police took a report of a protection order violation.
  • 5:20 p.m. BPD conducted a traffic stop. One female was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
