VOLGA – There’s something new at the Brookings County Museum.

It has added a “virtual tour” to its website repertoire.

The tour includes full, 360-degree photographs of every room in every one of the museum’s six-building complex.

To enjoy the tour, first call up the museum on your computer by using the address, brookingscountymuseum.org. Under the “museum” heading you’ll find “virtual tour.”

Click on the building you wish to tour, and by placing and moving the cursor over the screen-sized photograph you can view all sides and all displays in that museum room or building.

The tour was photographed, designed and donated by local businessman Nolan Hansen, owner of Elevate Drone Service LLC.

The Brookings County Museum is one of a very few museums in South Dakota that have such an advanced website “virtual tour.”
