ARLINGTON — A two-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon east of Arlington sent a Brookings resident to the emergency room at Brookings Health System.
Richard McKeown, 65, of Brookings was treated for unknown injuries, according to a news release from the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring wrote in the release that the sheriff’s office, Arlington Fire Department and Arlington Ambulance responded to the collision at 457th Avenue and 208th Street. It was found that Brady Josephsen, 34, of Arlington was driving his 2002 Dodge Ram 3500 westbound on 208th Street while McKeown was driving his 2018 Subaru Outback eastbound on 208th Street. Their vehicles collided at the top of a hill, Sebring wrote. Josephsen wasn’t injured, but McKeown was had unknown injuries and was transported by Arlington Ambulance.
Sebring wrote that charges are pending against Josephsen, and that the incident is being investigated by the sheriff’s office.=
