Brookings Public Library to host virtual discussion on climate change

BROOKINGS –The Brookings Public Library will host a community discussion tied to the Brookings Sustainability Council’s Common Read, “Falter” by Bill McKibben, at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, via Zoom.

This event will allow community members to have an in-depth discussion on climate change and other topics related to “Falter” with a representative from the Brookings Sustainability Council.

All are welcome. It is not necessary to have read the book, though multiple copies will be available for checkout at the library both before and after the event. To register and receive log in information, visit https://bit.ly/climatebsc.
