Brookings Tae Kwon Do Pride Competition Team excels in Fargo


The Brookings Tae Kwon Do Pride Competition Team traveled to North Dakota and had great success at the Fargo Kukkiwon Cup on Oct. 26. It was a long day of fierce competition.

Jasmine Anawski placed third in forms and second in sparring; Stephen Anawski placed third in forms and second in sparring; Katie Bortnem placed first in forms, second in breaking and second in sparring; Emily Hagedorn placed second in forms, third in breaking and first in sparring; Hailey Hagedorn placed second in forms and first in sparring; Brooklyn Schmidt placed first in forms, first in breaking and first in sparring; Hope Stover placed second in forms and first in sparring; and Laurissa Thomas placed third in forms and second in sparring.

Schmidt also was first in Gi and No Gi grappling.
